Freelance Senior Data Scientist TM Models (ZZP)

The teams works hybrid: from home and from the office. Fully working from home is not possible.

Summary of main tasks: We are looking for a senior data scientist who can help design and develop our machine learning product solutions. Main responsibilities are hands on development, ensuring technical quality and coaching of the data scientists within the team.

As a Data Scientist - Transaction Monitoring you analyse, enrich and build machine learning solutions on top of the richest data source of the bank: transaction data.

Your experience of building data science solutions and working with billions and billions of records of data will be your main guide during your day-to-day job while you provide valuable insights for more than 7 million customers. As a Data Scientist - Transaction Monitoring, you will work with a state-of-the-art data science toolkit and collaborate closely with a team of experienced data scientists and data engineers in an agile environment.

• Bring value to the business by designing, developing and deploying models

• Make impact with new data science use cases by practicing your communication skills and effectively sharing your observations with stakeholders

• Prove the added value of MLOps by identifying flaws at the earliest possible moment and implement the best MLOps practices accordingly. After all, you and your team are end-to-end responsible for the ML solutions you develop together!

You and your talent

• Master or PhD degree

• 6 years of relevant working experience in data science

• Experience with Python and Git

• You have a strong statistical background

• Experience with PySpark and/or Databricks

• Experience coaching data scientists

• Hands-on mentality

• Strong communication skills
