Working in a challenging and international environment to enable the bank in providing relevant financial services to our Markets clients. As a Business Analyst / Test Coordinator within the Markets Innovation and Wholesale & Rural Tech department (Tribe Markets & Treasury) you will work on an institutional client pilot for our new blockchain platform that creates a hybrid solution for market participants to exchange information about issuance, distribution and settlement of short term debt securities in the form of Commercial Papers and Certificate of Deposits. This with the aim to improve the overall experience of the wholesale and rural client journey. Department and Project context Markets Innovation is a team of in-residence entrepreneurs with passion for new technologies, fintechs and start-ups. We operate at the intersection of capital markets and technology with the aim to create value for our institutional clients (banks, asset managers and government agencies) by co-discussing and building innovative product and platform solutions. The team is based in London and Utrecht but have a global coverage from Sydney, through Asia to Europe and Americas). The Wholesale & Rural Tech department within CITO supports the wholesale and rural bank across the globe. As of 2021, W&R Tech is divided in 3 different tribes: Markets & Treasury, Financing and CBD (Clients, Bankers and Data). The Markets & Treasury Tribe is responsible for running and changing the global Front Office, Back Office and Risk Systems of Markets & Treasury; a mix of packages and in-house developed applications in different stages of their lifecycle. The Securities and Commodities area consists of a number of Squads which all work with a variety of different purposes including maintaining and building new Securities and Commodities Front Office and Back Office functionality as required by the Bank, providing consistent application development with automated testing, maintaining clear development processes and providing innovative tooling for developers. A key aim of the area will be to move the systems landscape towards Murex and decommission applications. Besides that this area is also focussing on new development and technology in close cooperation with the Markets Innovation team. Together we are now working on a new platform called ECP which is based on blockchain technology. This new platform will be integrated in the bank's landscape via multiple new interfaces. For this innovation we are about to create a new mini squad to run the pilot. As a Markets Innovation Business Analyst / Test Coordinator you will be part of this squad. This role will be fully seconded from Markets Innovation to the Innovation Squad for 1 year with the possibility of extending it.

You can be a key success factor in meeting the digital ambitions of the bank for wholesale and rural customers. The Markets Innovation Business Analyst / Test Coordinator for ECP will be responsible for structuring the pilot and bring it to a successful end after which we can take this into production. Since you will be working with a new application with multiple new interfaces you have the right technical knowledge to arrange everything that is needed to perform the different technical tests and get the sign off. You also have the skills to execute the different (integration) tests. You are a star in communication and organizing as this application is really in its early stage and a lot needs to be arranged. All communication will be in English as the end-users, team members and other stakeholders reside on different locations across the globe.
