The KPN Mobile Products team is looking for a DevOps Configuration Engineer

The Products team within KPN Technology Solutions is responsible for the realization of all mobile commercial mass market propositions KPN offers to our customers. In close cooperation with Marketing we create feasible solutions, align with other teams on the core network side and the front end systems. For wholesale partners we create functional products to ensure a correct network provisioning. We are looking for a DevOps configuration engineer to join our team.

As a configuration engineer you will focus on design, implementation, testing and maintaining product configurations on our BOSS system (Integral CRM, Product database, ordering and Billing system for KPN mobile customers). You will be working on transforming business requests into the best solutions for KPN and its customers. Virtualization will be one of the main topics for the upcoming year.

We are looking for a professional that has a passion to build solid IT systems and really likes to be a true team player. You have an eye for quality and are looking at continuous improvement, both within the team as within the system/IT-chain.

You will be working from our KPN office in Groningen and / or Amsterdam for 2 days a week, rest of the week you will be working from home. 

What do we expect?

Must haves:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, specializing in computer science or similar engineering.
• AWS certified
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience in application development and automated testing (Robot Framework and Soap UI).
• Team player, open for feedback and feedforward, you share knowledge.
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (English), both verbal and written, combined with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a multi-cultural team
• Experience in agile/scrum way of working and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment

Nice to have: 

• Experience with BSS platform.
• Experience with Linux, Python
• Know-how of a Telco company and its customers.
• Dutch speaking
