Department and Team
PVH Europe is on a mission to redefine the fashion industry by driving full digitization along the company's entire value chain, from product design to the end-consumer.

The focus of the Technology department is to become a driving force in the organization for technology strategies & tools that enable the company's growth and create ever-increasing value for the end-user, be it the PVH organization, the employees, our customers, or consumers.

Our Omnichannel Retail product teams create a seamless consumer experience across all consumer channels, thereby connecting online and offline channels. The success of the product teams is based on the effort and collaboration with many other teams across the organization which are all part of the company's omnichannel journey. The product teams develop, implement, and orchestrate the initiatives in an agile way from a business perspective until complete operational implementation as well as guide the cross-functional teams.

The Retail Technology Team focus is on PVH's brick and mortar stores across Europe. The members are currently structured in 4 teams, Retail Sales, Retail Inventory and Retail Expansion and Operations, and Digital Checkout. The members are thriving experts in various retail technologies such as GK OmniPOS, SAP Sales, SAP CAR, RFID Technology, Fiori and ABAP development. As well embarking on the cloud journey to move code and solutions to the cloud.


The Position 
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to guide and coach up to 3 of the Retail Technology teams: In Store Sales, Inventory Management Solutions and Retail Expansion & Operations teams in the Scrum ways of working and agile mindset. The Scrum Master will work closely together with our coaches in the Agile Center of Excellence on building a high performing agile Omnichannel Retail domain. 



Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Guide the teams, stakeholders, and Product Owner on the Scrum Framework. 
  • Guide the team on how to get the most out of self organization. 
  • Coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
  • Coach the team to continuously improve and do so with data.
  • Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments.
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on learning and problem solving. 
  • Facilitate effective internal and external communication and improve transparency within the team. 
  • Help build a productive environment where team members own the product and enjoy working on it.
  • Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style and lead by example.
     

The Ideal Candidate:
 

  • At least first level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I). 
  • 3-5 Years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. 
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency. 
  • Knowledge and experience of Lean techniques such as kaizen and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with scaling techniques/dealing with dependencies between teams.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team is a plus.
  • Previous experience with Direct to Consumer is a plus.
