Max hourly rate: 90 €/hr
Hours per week: 40
Your job as a Medior/Senior Python/Django Software Developer
The “inzien en gebruiken” value stream, is an international, English speaking Scrum team based in Amsterdam. As all teams within KPN Consumer Processes, our team is self-organizing; we are ambitious and always looking for ways to improve. As team we like to talk and have fun, without losing our focus on getting things done.
We work with managed Private Cloud servers, sharing deploy, monitoring and permission handling infrastructure provided by Infra and Platform team and general Ops guidelines provided by the Platform team. We have relational managed database infrastructure with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Our value stream services are used by millions of customers to offer users a personalized sales and service experience on every device by providing a secure ID to all users within a household. We assure that privacy preferences can be managed easily in every touchpoint. As a team we work closely together with the team which is responsible for the MijnKPN Web and App as well as other teams who offer personalized access.
We need you as a Python/Django developer to help creating the apps and the related API’s to accomplish that goal. So you are not afraid to take responsibility for the whole stack. Are you able to help us along?
Jump on if you are:
- An experienced Python developer.
- Have experience in daily CI and CD practices. We use Git, Jenkins, Rancher (K8S, Docker), Grafana, Sentry, Elastic etc.,
- Be part of the on-call rotations to support the applications we build and deploy.
- Having agile way-of-working experience as a developer in a Scrum team.
Nice to have
- Knowledge with Django or Flask or FastAPI.
- Knowledge with PostgreSQL.
- AWS Certified.
- Knowledge building web applications with Vue/React (preferably with Vue/Nuxt).
As a modern developer we assume that you are able to understand the end to end functionality of the product. Or able to at the least.
Is there anything else you should know?
Yes, certainly. The people you will be working with are all team players. That means that we want to achieve a goal as a team and make each other proud on each other. You’re a performer because we are performing and the other way around. There is no solo play in the team. Unlike in “Hot fuzz”: “You make us all look bad”.
On the other hand, you as an individual have your individual needs and ambitions which we encourage.
