Full Stack Software Engineer – KULT Team

Would you like to work in a team that enables KPN for being in full control about the security of their Business? Where you are challenged, rewarded and inspired to give a contribution on KPN’s mission to connect people on a secure way? Then the KULT team is the place to be!

 

We are:

A small expert team, based in The Netherlands, who are proud of building their applications by themselves in the latest Open Source technologies.

The KULT team develops and maintains an application that provides security information, statistics and reporting and support the CISO workflow and reporting. On top of it is a tool for self-assessment of web projects before submission of request for test to Portal Authority, providing project specific information for and from Portal Authority in self-service manner.

KULT runs in a KPN datacenter and a part of it is moving to AWS.

The currently used technologies: Python, Django, Redis, Celery, Postgres, Typescript, Vue2, Vue3, JSON:API, Docker, Kubernetes, Cypress, CI/CD, TipTap, Composition API

As a Software Engineer you are responsible for:

  • Investigating, implementing and testing best-in-industry, innovative tools and software to improve the application as a whole
  • Maintaining and proposing improvements for the application
  • Deliver high quality code and bring a keen eye for detail
  • Getting the application team to a higher scrum/agile level, also improving yourself.
  • Solving complex problems and ensuring that the application retains its high consistency and scales with the needs of KPN

  • Proactive approach
  • Must have a working permit for The Netherlands or a EU passport
  • Located in The Netherlands
  • Experienced in Agile/scrum way-of-work
  • Strong Typescript and Vue knowledge (preferable: Vue2 & Vue3)
  • Experienced in Python and Django
  • Experience and certificates on AWS is a plus
  • UX affinity is a plus
  • Software design skills are nice to have
  • Experience regarding security is also a plus
