KPN - DevOps Engineer Data (Freelance/ZZP)

As THE future proof Data DevOps Engineer you will contribute to make KPN a fully data driven company. The Data Office (DO) is part of the Technology and Digital Office (TDO) within KPN. DO is responsible for enabling the digital transformation within KPN. 

In your day-to-day job, you will extract, transform and load data, using different tooling such as Informatica Powercenter, Teradata, Airflow, GIT/Jenkins and MS Azure. The team you work in will be responsible for developing dataproducts ready to use for reporting and dashboarding, mostly using Power BI. Also monitoring and managing the OPS part will be part of the job. 

As a devops engineer we expect from you that you will engage agile methodologies within the scrum teams. You will work on stories within the 2 weeks sprints we facilitate. We want you to cooperate in continuous improvement and make sure you enjoy what you do. Fun is a great factor in our teams .

Responsibilities:

• Data modeling
• Prepare data for data analysis, delivery and reporting purposes
• Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling

Automating

Use data to discover tasks that can be automated Implementation and configuration of Monitoring CI/CD

Reporting

• Build platform and infrastructure for BI reporting
• Translate information request into functional specifications (requirements) and reports

System architecture

• Develop, construct, test and maintain data warehouse architectures
• Align architecture with business requirements

System integration

• Data acquisition
• Develop data set processes (batch / stream)
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
