We believe in data and the positive impact it can have on our business. To keep data discoverable we are establishing a ‘Data Catalog’, which will be critical for our new Distributed Data Architecture. We need your help to grow and improve the application while cooperating with an established open source community.

Why?

To make KPN a more data-driven company. Within our new architecture it is essential that data remains discoverable and usable for all data consumers. The Data Catalog will be key in supporting this process.

Where?

We work 3 days from home, and 1-2 days at our office in Amsterdam Sloterdijk. We use our office workdays for the regular scrum events (review, refinement, etc…) and creative brainstorms. In the office we share a room with three other scrum teams on the same floor, which are all focused on different aspects of data.

Team?

We are a growing team with currently 2 developers, a Product Owner and a Scrum Master.

Our Way of Working:

Within the data office department of KPN we have adapted Agile and work according to the Scrum methodology. We are convinced of the value of “We Make-We Own” and have embedded DevOps in our development teams. We believe we have created an inspiring environment for personal development and a great and fun place to work!
