Job Description

Would you like to contribute to the data protection of the bank worldwide? As a member of Data Protection Support (DPS) team which is part of the Global Privacy Office (GPO), you will advise and support colleagues, employees and clients in expert privacy matters!


You and your job

As a Privacy Officer DPS, you make a contribution by supporting the Global Data Protection Officer (DPO) in her regulatory tasks. DPS advises Compliance Advisors in expert privacy matters, handles complaints to the DPO, advises on Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs), assesses Data Breaches in a second line role, analyses new regulations, provides management information on those topics and supports the other pillars of the GPO: Policy Management Expertise (PME) and Data Oversight (DOS). You can make a difference by making sure we as a bank do the right thing.



Your top 3 responsibilities

  • Provide solicited and unsolicited expert advice.

  • Improve Data Protection awareness, information and organisation.

  • Support the DPO in her required tasks.



The bank and the Global Privacy Office

The 18 people in the Global Privacy Office make sure that the bank’ processes personal data in line with internal and external guidelines, protects personal data and acts within the legal and ethical boundaries. You and your talent

  • HBO with 5-10 years of experience or WO with minimum of 3 years of experience in data privacy, preferably within an international financial institution.

  • At least having one of the following certifications: CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM certification, the post executive course on Privacy and Data Protection Legislation at Tilburg university, Maastricht university or a similar training.

  • Capable to function in a large, complex, international organization with a diverse stakeholder's framework with different interests.

  • Compliance officer certification is a pré.

  • Native in Dutch, fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
