Imagine
Theres never been a better time to join our project. With increasing competition from Fintech companies and growing pressure from Regulators, Data Management truly is the ace in a banks sleeve, to free up so much value (and capital) locked into inefficient processes. Data Management (and BCBS239) is one the most dynamic areas of the bank. In particular, our project improves the Way-of-Working around data, by strengthening Governance and processes, and by leading the way for many other departments. You will join a small (but growing) group of energic Project Managers. Together we will pave the way for the bank to strengthen the Data Management and Data Quality of its most important Risk metrics. We accept this challenge, and hopefully so do you.

You will contribute to our team by:

  • You will apply the BCBS239 Principles to the bank's data processes (sourcing, calculation and reporting), co-ordinate between different stakeholders, and communicate with Senior Management and the Regulator (DNB/ECB).
  • You will help optimize our project organisation, and ensure the right content is available at the right moment. This includes gathering information, provide regular updates and manage the agenda of the BCBS239 Steering Committee.
  • Your focus will be (among others) on: the identification of critical data elements and capture of data lineage, the strengthening our Risk and Control Framework, and setting processes which ensures the bank remains BCBS239 compliant in the future.

You have:

  • A Masters degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related. An additional certification (e.g. CFA, FRM) is a plus.
  • Consultancy and project management skills, and have a talent for translating information to clear and actionable insights, through e.g. Power Point, e-mails and general planning.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Risk Management in Banking (minimum 3 years), and demonstrable affinity with Data Management. Experience with implementing BCBS239 is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. This is crucial to properly interact and energize different stakeholders.
  • A positive and constructive work attitude. A sense of humour is a plus.
