Intro
We are looking for a Change coordinator / Project Assistant to assist in processing the expected raise of requests in our International Infrastructure team. The Change coordinator / Project Assistant will play an important role in processing demands (non-standard changes and predefined projects) and act as an intermediate between the Athlon business, the International Infrastructure team and the supplier(s). In this position you will be part of a small team where focus lies on getting new demands clarified, documented, processed and delivered together with the business, International Infrastructure (your team) and various suppliers. 

Company, department and team description
Athlon is an international leasing provider which started as a repair shop in 1916. The company has more than a 120.000 cars under its management and has a HQ located in Almere and more than 30 sites in 12 countries. Services of Athlon include: fleet management, car sharing, electric mobility, parking service. In 2016, Daimler Financial Services (DFS) Acquired Athlon Car Lease. This change brought the IT Infrastructure separation from the former IT-supplier and with it Athlon International was born in 2017 as a Service Integrator. Athlon International was split up in several departments of which International Infrastructure. This department current consists of 25 employees in  8 Competence Centers. One of these Center of Competences is Demand where the role of this vacancy lies in. 

 

Job requirements / Main responsibilities Solution Design:
•    Manage open demands
•    Clarify raised demands by having an elaborate intake
•    Gather functional and/or technical specifications of each demand
•    Create, process and manage demand runbooks
•    Plan and follow-up demands 
•    Align with business, your team and various suppliers to bring the demand to a total solution and successful implementation
•    Implement/process small standard changes

Who are we looking for?
For this position, we are looking for someone who is:
•    Very pro-active, flexible and can work under pressure
•    Able to prioritize and has analytical and creative challenge abilities to clarify every request in a dynamic environment
•    Able to chase, follow up, report and escalate on the progress of resolutions of outstanding issues within Center of Competences and Suppliers
•    Understand adopt and manage request whit in the guideline of the policies
•    Able to work independently and in small teams
•    Team enabler
•    Good in English (spoken and written)

In this responsible and accurate role, we require:
•    Experience in Information Technology functions
•    Experience with change process
•    Experience with project management (in any role)

In this role we do not require but, it’s beneficial to have:
•    Experience with large organization and complex processes 
•    A bachelor or equivalent in Information Technology or other relevant field
•    Experience with working with ITSM-tooling (e.g. ServiceNow)
•    Foundation / Fundamentals certification (e.g. network, cloud, datacenter)
•    ITIL Foundation certification
•    Scrum / Agile / Lean certification
